Richard Herman “Bud” Robinson, age 89, of W. Francis Street, Grafton, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Grafton City Hospital. Grampy Robinson was born August 6, 1923, the son of the late Wait Robinson and Tessie Clarice Brown Robinson. He married Peggy J. Shingleton Robinson on February 17, 1950. Graduated from Grafton High School and served in the US Navy during WWII and on the USS West Virginia Battleship.
In addition to his wife he is survived by son, Joshua and wife Eva M. Robinson, of Grafton; daughter, Melissa A. Robinson and spouse Darcy A. Conaty, of Palmyra, NJ; Granddaughter, Tiffany A. Robinson and fiancé Charles A. Patterson, of Grafton; Grandson, Joshua S. Robinson and fiancé Kaitlin Merrill of Grafton; Granddaughter, Kaitlyn M. Robinson and Grandson Anthony R. Robinson, both of Grafton; Sisters-in-law, Ethel Robinson and Elenora Robinson, both of Grafton.
Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by siblings, Edward J. Robinson, Thelma M. Robinson Chis, George “Jay” Robinson, Robert “Doc” Robinson, and Ralph C. Robinson.
