Richard B. Meredith of Burlington City died Thursday August 6, 2015 at Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County in Willingboro at the age of 76. Born in Riverside, NJ, Mr. Meredith was a longtime Burlington resident. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, retiring after 20 years of dedicated service. He then went on to work an additional 20 years for Fisher Service Company.
He was a member of VFW Post 1817 in Burlington. Richard was an avid reader who also loved working in his yard. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Catherine (nee Sexton), his children; Denise Heffner (Chris), Richard Meredith, Jr. (Wendy), Scott Wayne Meredith (Dawn) and Jeffrey Meredith, his grandchildren; Alyssa (Robert), Scott, Jr., Stephani (Lucas), Brandon, Katey, Joseph, Erin, Kierstin and Faith. He is also survived by his brother Robert and his sister Lorraine.
