Richard Austin Brazil, 92
Okeechobee – Richard Austin Brazil died March 26, 2021, at home surrounded by his wife, family, and friends. He was born December 17, 1928, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin to Leon and Elizabeth (Braun) Brazil. A resident of Okeechobee since 1961, he built his home from the ground up with his own hands. Richard had a green thumb along with many other talents. He cherished the time he spent with his sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Mr. Brazil was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Wayne, Elroy, Bob, and Dale.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Rose Brazil; sons, David Brazil (Crystal), Daniel Brazil (Sharon), and Samuel Brazil (Lori), all of Okeechobee; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and brothers, Arden, Laurel, and Pete; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
