Richard was born in Nampa, ID to Earl & Louise Young. He passing away at St Luke’s Meridian.
He lived in Parma, ID until 1955, moving to Caldwell where he met the Love of his Life, Marie Shain.
Richard loved Fishing and Camping with family and friends at Lost Lake and would drop everything to enjoy watching his favorite Football team. His time was spent helping others and enjoying his morning coffee with his pals. He had a passion for mowing lawns and collecting various scrap metals as well. His biggest talent was that he never knew a stranger.
He married Marie Shain, the love of his life for 35 years, on Sept 19, 1981.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Merry Smith. He is survived by his wife, Marie Shain; his 2 children, Raymond Young and Connie & Carl Ostyn; 2 brothers, Earl JR & Gay Young , Ron & Debbie Young of Caldwell; grand children, Mark & Lytia Ostyn, Mitchell Carrell, and Jonathan Ostyn; and many beloved Nieces and Nephews.
