Richard “Dick” Anthony Baronowski, Sr., 82, of Cromwell, husband of Caroline (Giuliano) Baronowski, died peacefully on October 21, 2015 from multiple myeloma. Born on March 8, 1933 in Norwich, CT he was the son of the late Anthony Baronowski and Elizabeth (Pendzich) Baronowski. Dick graduated in 1951 from Norwich Free Academy and attended Mitchell College where he studied accounting. He served as a Corporal in the United States Army in the Signal Corp from 1953 through 1955 during the Korean War. He retired from the state of Connecticut where he had worked in Hartford for44 years as a Payroll Auditor for the Auditors of Public Accounts. Upon retirement, Dick instructed motorcycle safety at Middlesex Community College. Dick was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend who whole-heartedly enjoyed retirement, driving and RV journeys throughout the USA.
