Richard J. Andry, Sr. 83 Died Thursday October 15, 2015 after a brief illness. Mr. Andry was born in New Orleans and a resident of Metairie. Survived by his son Steve Andry and wife Joyce, Daughter Debra Terek and husband Michael. Sister Yvette Ducote and husband Anthony. Granddaughter April Winfield and Great Granddaughter Ava Winfield. Preceded in death by his sons Robert and Richard Andry Jr. Son of the late Walter and Ida Andry. Richard retired from the space program. Member of the KSC Government Industry team that launched Apollo 11 which successfully accomplished man’s first landing on the moon July 20, 1969.
