Richard Allen Vondette went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 27, 2021.
He was born January 22,1940 in Rifle Colorado to Fred and Doris (McDaniel) Vondette.
He grew up in Rifle, attended the Rifle schools, graduating in 1959 from Rifle High. He worked janitorial positions for several different commercial businesses on the western slope of Colorado.
Richard was a quiet, reserved, very likeable man and always had a smile for everybody.
After retirement he enjoyed taking road trips around Colorado. Since he was not married he enjoyed family outings and get-togethers with relatives.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, a baby sister, Barbara Ann and brother Melvin. He is survived by his sister Donna, sister-in-law Karen, numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.
