Richard “Dick” Allen Griffin passed away at his home on February 12 after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Rockdale, WV, on February 22, 1938, Dick was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Virginia Louise Griffin, Bridgeport, and his life partner of over 21 years, Melody A. Minor. Dick touched the lives of several stepchildren including Jeanie Granata, Bridgeport, Gail Rice, Bridgeport, and Jack Rice, Elkins. He treasured his short time being Grandpaw Dick to Robert Luther Granata.
