Richard Allen Davis was born to the parentage of the late Will Davis and the late Alice Gamble Davis on July 26, 1950 in Shelby County, Alabama.

Richard mother died when he was twelve years old and his dad remarried and from that time he lived with his dad and stepmother the late Dorothy Russell Davis aka “Muh”.

Richard attended Shelby County Training school.

At a late age in life he was united with the love of his life and childhood playmate Harriet Lacey Davis.

Richard was a working man providing for his family. He retired from Specification Rubber Products after 31 years on the job. He worked two jobs. At the time of his death, he was still working at Wal-Mart for 17 years.

Richard was a likeable person on and off of his jobs. In his leisure time he loved watching Auburn football games and remained a die-hard War Eagle fan for lie. “War-Eagle”

You might find him around the slot machines at the Windcreek Casino which he had a passion for. Richard was so full of life and he never met a stranger.

Richard was preceded in death by his daughter, Alice Evette Pearce, 

Richard departed this life on January 25, 2022 at his home in Calera, AL.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 21 years Harriet Lacey Davis. His son Courtney (Keila) Allen (Stepdaughter Consuelo Lee and Stepson Stephen Lee. Two brothers Will (Annie Ruth) Davis and Mark Wayne Davis both of Calera, AL: three sisters, Ella Marie Keith of Calera, AL, Evelyn (Howard) Brown of Brierfield, AL and Anita Underwood of Lomax, AL; Nine Grandchildren; Dexter Pierce, Anjelica Pearce, Tamara Pearce, Keara Hall, Stephanie Lee, Constance Lee, Brandon Lee, Terrance Lee and Evelyn Lee. Special love-laws; Robert Lacey, John (Cynthia) Lacey, Willie (Carolyn) Lacey Eric (Lelia) Lacey, Jean Johnson, Veronica Brown, Myra (James) Brown and Emma Morris. Special friends Michael Germany and Larry Cunningham and a host of relatives and friends.
