Rhonda Washum was born January 21, 1951, to Richard Washum and Robbie Christine Washum (Porter). Rhonda was the fourth child out of five raised on the westside of Chicago. Rhonda prided herself on her family and loved being a mother and grandmother.
Rhonda attended Gregory Elementary and graduated from Marshall High School. She worked at Jewel Foods until her retirement in 2012.
Rhonda departed this life on Friday, December 16, 2022, surrounded by family. Her parents, Richard Washum, and Robbie Christine Washum (Porter); and sister, Devalarie Hope Stingley, who all preceded her in death.
Rhonda leaves to cherish: her children, Deidra Westbrooks (Charles), Amber Weathersby (Marcus), and Brandon Smith (Jerrica); grandchildren, Kirrah, Laila, Ontario, Jebrel, Aiden, and Landon; sisters, Donna (Joe) Casey, and Demetria; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
