…..A native of Caesar Community, MS, she was a member of Union Baptist Church. Rhoda worked for Movie Star in Poplarville and Caesar’s Palace for many years. She was well known in the community and had many friends who called her “Aunt Rhodie”.She was preceded in death by her parents, William Stockstill and Rose Ann Odom Stockstill; husband, H.L. Pearson; and their son, Michael L. Pearson.Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Charleen Pearson Powell and husband, Don Powell; three grandchildren, Lamont Pearson and wife Brittany, Leslie Powell Moyle and husband Jeff, Lisa Powell Cason and husband Greg; four great granddaughters, Ashley Cason, Aimee Cason, Bethany Moyle, and Lindsey Moyle; daughter-in-law, Barbara Tourne Pearson; She will be greatly missed by her numerous nieces and nephews and her “unofficial” grandchildren, Jason Powell Glydewell, Tammy Powell Cutrer, Sherry Powell Messa, and Trenton Powell and many others who knew her as “MawMaw”.Special thanks and love go to Regina, Mandie, Tara, Ariel, and Stephanie for their care and devotion to “Aunt Rhodie”..
