Rhoda Newnum, 58, of Odin, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 at her home. She was born August 6, 1962 in Salem, the daughter of Ira “Gus” Overbeck and Dorothy (Cavins) Overbeck.
She is survived by her three children: Jason Altenbaumer of Hoyleton, Marah Elliott and husband Mike of Germantown, and Kelsey Wilson of Paducah, Kentucky; three grandchildren: Justice Altenbaumer, Morgan Elliott, and Sawyer Elliott; a brother: Dennis Overbeck and wife Debbie of Centralia; a niece: Katie Overbeck and special friend Josiah Bates of Centralia; and a special friend: Steve Lusch of Odin. Rhoda was preceded in death by her parents: Gus and Dorothy Overbeck and grandparents: John A. and Mary Overbeck and J.W. and Martha Cavins. Rhoda enjoyed going camping and four wheeler riding. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and she had a big heart for her dogs.
