Reynard Bruin Johnson passed away June 12, 2020 at his home in Lincolnton. He was born July 25, 1929 to the late Roland Thaniel and Helen Leona Glanton Johnson in Lincoln County. Reynard worked in the furniture industry for many years before retiring. He loved wood working and making furniture. He was also a farmer who raised cattle. Reynard was a long time member of David Memorial Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Reynard was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruth Hazeline Lynn Johnson, three brothers; Milledge Elkaney Johnson, Patrick Elam Johnson, and Broadus Glanton Johnson, and two sisters; Vivian Funderburk, and Vera Powell.
Reynard is survived by his son, Steven Earl Johnson, his caretaker, Kevin Harless, his home-health caretaker, Joyce Setzer, his Pace At Home patient advocate, Chelsea Morrow, his beloved dog, Whitey, his beloved cat, Trip, and numerous nephews and nieces, and many other cherished relatives, and friends.
