Reynaldo “Diablo” Garcia Sr., 59, entered the Lord’s heavenly kingdom on Monday, September 5, 2022.
Reynaldo was born on September 13, 1962 in Fremont, Ohio to Eleazar Garcia & Eloisa Gonzales Garcia.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Reynaldo leaves behind his loving family to cherish his wonderful memory, his children, Celia Galvan (David), Marybel Gonzalez (Sergio), Eleazar Garcia, Reynaldo Garcia Jr., Juan Pablo Garcia (Justine), Veronica Aide Garcia, & Roxy Anna Garcia; 18 grandchildren; 3 great granddaughters, and 2 sisters, Gloria Mejia & Olga Ramon.
Papi was a simple man, stubborn to a fault. He had a his way or the highway mentality but he was also a big teddy bear at heart. He loved his family and friends deeply but loved his Dallas Cowboys even more. He always made it a point in letting us know that he’ll go down knowing full well that Dez did in fact catch that ball and no one could tell him otherwise.
You would never guess by seeing him and with a nickname like “Diablo” but our dad was very intelligent and had a great memory. He loved to read and was a huge movie buff. Papi loved his rock-n-roll and always sported his famous bandana over his crazy wild curly red hair.
He will always be the no nonsense tough love giving man that we all grew to love.
Gone but NEVER forgotten. We love you Papi!!
Inurnment will be Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in La Feria, Texas.
