Aug. 6, 1953 – March 6, 2011. Rex passed away peacefully at home in Littleton with his family by his side. He was the husband of Bridgid (Martinez) Hendricks and father of Lauren and Chelsea Hendricks. Preceded in death by his parents Irv and Gina Hendricks and baby sister Debra. Brother of Kay Cole, Nelse (Joyce) Hendricks, Angie DeFalco, and Rob Hendricks. Survived by many loving aunts, uncles cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Rex was born in Holdrege, NE, and moved to Colorado when he was two years old. He attended Littleton Public Schools, where he was an all-state pitcher at Littleton High School in 1971. He was drafted by the Minnesota Twins but chose instead to take a baseball scholarship to the University of Colorado. He spent his adult life working with family at a printing company in downtown Littleton. He enjoyed being with people and spent his spare time with family and friends. Rex was an avid CU Buffs fan and attended all home football games.
