Rex Bell was born in Rutledge, Alabama to Willie Lee and George Bell, the second of three sons, on December 4, 1923. He shared 50 blessed years with his late wife, Annie Laurie Bell. He was joined in holy matrimony with Louise M. Dillard on March 4, 2003 and spent the next 17 enjoying life with his loving wife.
On April 26, 1944 he enlisted in the U. S. Army and was sent to France during WW II.
He departed this life on November 19, 2020.
Rex will be greatly missed. He leaves to cherish his memory in Cincinnati: his loving wife, Louise M. Bell; her daughter, Patricia Powell and her grandchildren, Angela “DeeDee” Hollingsworth, Robert Louis Hollingsworth, Cassandra “Sandy” Broach, Tapiwa “Kandy” Girton and Darrell “DJ” Powell. In Alabama and other states his nieces and nephews, Alanders, Cecil Dewayne Bell, Cassandra, Eric Bell, April, Sabrina, Verti Williams; cousins, Helen Brunston, Jim Eaton, Cassandra Mo and Zoe Gentry will miss his presence.
