Reva Farwell Losey, 83, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at her home in Newnan, GA. She was born September 8, 1927 in DuBois, Nebraska to the late Verner Farwell & Mollie Turner Farwell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Robert A. Losey. Reva was born to a family who valued hard work in the family business of farming and banking. Her love of banking led her to attend Business College in Lincoln, Nebraska. After her marriage to Mr. Losey, they made their home in many cities but settled in Washington D.C. while he worked with RCA and became the president of the National Security Industrial Association. She became an Investment Broker with First American Bank in the Washington D.C. area. After retiring to Newnan, she and her husband traveled extensively. She was member of the White Oak Ladies Golf Association and an avid gardener. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda & Will Sumpter of Brooks, GA, Barbara & Michael Lachey of Newnan, Boni & Ken Peek of Griffin, GA; siblings, Avis Uhri of Los Angeles, CA, Lyle Farwell of DuBois, NE; grandchildren, Michael Lachey, Justin Lachey, Jason Guido, Justin Guido, Christopher Sumpter, Chris Peek; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
