Reva Almira Kirchner, 103 of Boise, passed away Monday, January 2, 2012 at home of natural causes.
Reva was born August 26, 1908 in Paxton, Nebraska, the third child of John and Josephine Dillon. She moved with her parents to Alliance, Nebraska in 1916 to a farm northwest of town. Reva graduated from Alliance High School in 1928, then from a Nurses Training Program at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Alliance in 1932. Reva married William J. Kirchner on December 13, 1938 in Long Beach, California. Reva and Bill had two sons, David and Daniel and a daughter, Rose Marie.
Reva and Bill moved from California as empty nesters to Idaho in 1975 where they have since resided.
Reva is survived by her son, David (Judy) Kirchner of Sunnyvale, CA; her daughter, Rose Marie DeHaven of Nampa; brother-in-law, Charles Adams of Loveland, CO; four granddaughters and their families; 11 great-grandchildren;1 great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
Reva was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Kirchner; son, Daniel and his wife, Patsy; three brothers, Harold, Oscar, and Raymond Dillon; and three sisters, Dorothy Adams, Ruth Birch and Thelma Dillon
