Rev. Monroe Spencer Horne, 89, a resident of Valley, AL and a former resident of Danville, VA passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at his residence.
Rev. Horne was born in Washington County, VA and served in the U. S. Armed Forces. He was a retired Church of God Minister.
Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Ruth Naomi Horne; children, Tajuana Lowery (Joe), Kathy Hattaway (Jimmy), Terry Lee Harrelson, Audrey Gale Hackworth (Greg), Betty Elizabeth Horne; two brothers, Frank & Floyd Horne; sister, Maggie Goodman; 20 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his previous wife, Ella Mae Horne, daughters, Sandy Horne & Barbara Elaine Morrow, and sister, Pauline Beame.
