Reverend James William Ghorley, age 73, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018. He was born on January 27, 1945. He was a minister for over 50 years, and pastored several churches. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie William Ghorley and Kathleen Morris Ghorley; brother, Jessie Ghorley; sisters, Betty Jo Patton and Mary Ann Edwards. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce Ghorley of Dalton; son and daughter in law, David and Sandra Ghorley of Chatsworth; brother, Clarence Ghorley of Sugar Valley; grandchildren, Misty Ghorley, Dustin Ghorley, Erica McCollum, Austin McCollum, Loren Powell, Christopher Powell; great grandson, Carson Massengill; and several nieces and nephews.
