Cain, Sr., 86, left his earthly body and was received into the loving arms of God. A son of James A. Cain and Mary Trout Cain, he was born in Key West, Florida on August 12, 1934.
He is also preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Grace Eugenia “Jean” Roberson Cain; and sons, Bert Cain and Paul Cain. He is survived by his children, Cindy Crawford (husband, Buddy) and Errol Cain; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; siblings, Richard Cain, Lillis Cunningham, PD Cain, John Cain and Mike Cain; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He served a short term in the United States Navy. He became a Christian Minister and served in several denominations during his service to the Lord.
