Rev. Harry T. Heath, Jr. transitioned Thursday, December 9, 2021.

On Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 4pm, we held the hands of our husband and father Harry T. Heath, Jr. as he peacefully left from our hands into the loving and caring arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Harry Travis Heath, Jr., age 75, was born May 6, 1946 in Fayetteville, West Virginia to the late Frankie Lee (Beale) Heath and Harry James Heath, Sr. Harry was a dedicated and committed ordained minister for over thirty years.

Harry worked for the State office building in Columbus, Ohio as a supervisor in the mailroom for many years before retiring. Harry loved the Lord! He also loved his family, fishing, and cheering for that team up north (Michigan) Go Blue!

Harry never called you by your name. He would rename you and say things like “Hello Applesauce” or “That’s my Donut Baby” or “give me some of that sugar peach pie” and “How do you duty tutti fruity” and the list goes on and on.

So today we celebrate the life of Harry T. Heath, Jr, who is knows as a son, brother, cousin, husband, father, nephew, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and a friend. We will always love and miss him but we hold our memories of Harry close to our hearts until we meet again.

Rest in the Lord Harry!

Harry is also preceded in death by his brothers Jerome Heath, Kermit Heath, Sebron Heath; sisters, Liddy Samuels and Cortes (Cookie) Davis Price.

Harry is survived by his beloved wife Cora M. Heath; children Harry Travis Heath III, Christy Lee (Gregory) Turner; bonus children Deborah (Stan) Crockett, Denise (John) Palmer and Dwight Mosley; grandchildren CJ, Travis, Raymonda, Staphon, AlayJa, Myria and Joshua; brothers Larry (Sandy) Heath, Peter (Virginia) Heath, Robert (Brenda) Heath; aunt Dolores Fliming; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
