Rev. (CH) Harold Schneider, LTC (Ret.), 93, of Fortville, passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2022. He was born November 7, 1928, in Akron, Ohio to Ralph E. and Gladys (Oberholtz) Schneider. Harold retired from the U.S. Army as a Chaplain with the rank of Lt. Colonel. He was a minister for over 58 years and a member of Geist Christian Church.
Harold is survived by his wife Marilyn (Cannaday) Schneider, whom he married June 20, 1954, children: Mark Dale (Sandra) Schneider, Lynn Ann (Lawrence) Mangino and Monte Star (Joyce) Schneider, grandchildren: Amanda, Marcus, Sara, Mariah, Chelsea, Grace, Taylor and Garrett; great-grandchildren: Aaron, Joselyn, Gwendolyn and Talia as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ralph E. Schneider and sister Eloise.
