He passed away at 7:15 a.m., Wednesday, April 9, 2008, in his Logansport residence.
Born Aug. 24, 1910, in Lemesa, Texas, he was the son of Robert Charlie and Purrie Louvenia Kelley Cosby. He was married June 12, 1949, in Benson, Ariz., to Joan Ives, who survives.
Rev. Cosby was a well-known pastor and evangelist in Arizona and the western United States.
Rev. Cosby was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps serving in World War II.
Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Bob and Cathy Cosby, Logansport; daughters and sons-in-law, Becky and Bill Miller, Payson, Ariz., and Cathy and Mike Hoover, Orleans; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Cecil Melvin Cosby.
