Dr. Harrod, an Arkansas native, was a United Methodist pastor serving several congregations in Wash., DC and Maryland. He leaves his wife, Elsie Shaw Harrod; a cherished daughter, Nannette Virginia Owens; grandchildren, LaVerne Owens-Alexander and Jamar Owens, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
