Rev. Carmen S. Graziano, 80, a native of Utica, NY and a resident of Cocoa, FL, and Cedar Lake, NY, died April 25 at Wuesthoff Hospital, where he was taken after suffering a stroke. A longtime Presbyterian (PCUSA) minister and a graduate of McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL, he served congregations in Oklahoma, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Maryland and Virginia before retiring in Florida.

Rev. Graziano wasan accomplished musician who earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Westminster Choir College, Rider University’s college of music in Princeton, NJ. His love of the French horn was expressed when assignedto the U.S. ArmyBand, where he was stationed in retirement, he playedthe French horn in several bands, and most recently was an active participant in the Melbourne, FL Municipal Band, the Ilion, NY Community Band, and La Banda Rossa (the Italian band in Utica, NY).

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Rebecca “Becky” Hartranft Graziano of Cocoa, FL, and Cedar Lake, NY; daughter Janelle (Jim) Malia; son David (Carol) Graziano; daughter Shellie Raymond; and son David (Linda) Bennett; seven grandchildren: Jimmy Lepley, Katie Malia, Rachael Raymond, Marybeth Raymond, Zachary Raymond, Devon Graziano and DemiGraziano; a sister Rosemond Kirkland, niece Melanie Adams, and nephew Christopher Kirkland. He was preceded in death by his brother, A.J.
