Reverend Arthur Lee Brinson was born on July 14, 1937, in Bascom, Florida, to James Brinson and Lena Brinson. He was the second oldest of four children.
He attended the schools of Jackson County.
Reverend Arthur L. Brinson was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Annie Ruth Hicks Dowdle; brothers, Elder Tony Brinson and Deacon Freddie Brinson and great-grandsons, Torry and Kobe Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Lashunda, Arthenia, Lalena, Darryl (Debbie), and Antoinette; stepdaughter, Toni (Dwight); 25 grandchildren, Ronald, Tory, Toneisha, Darien, April, Kourtnae, Antonio, Antoine, Ejashia, Demitria, Elicia, Donnell, Justin, Maurice, Dahrya, Shyra, Alfred, Alyce, Anthony, Arquevius, Ashley, Alyce, Kevin, Demetrius and Lashunda; 34 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sister-in-law, Sharon Brinson; special nephew, Freddie Brinson Jr.; special nieces, Lena Hicks Jenkins and Tanya Stevenson and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
