  • Date Of Death: May 21, 2016

Renee G. Naylor, 87, peacefully left this earth surrounded by family and love on May 21, 2016, to be with her beloved husband, John Naylor.

Renee was born October 9, 1928, in Luzerne County, PA.

She was the youngest of four children. She was a resident of Edgewater Park, NJ for 59 years, from 1952 until 2011, when she moved to Cape Canaveral, FL. Time spent with her family brought the most joy to Renee. While raising her family she was active in the Magowan PTA, always available to assist with classroom parties, trips, and graduations. Having four athletic grandsons, she spent countless hours, traveling around the country cheering them on at soccer fields, baseball fields, football stadiums and basketball courts. Her passion was art and she loved oil painting, even winning some local competitions. She worked for 10 years as a Unit Clerk at Rancocas Valley Hospital after the loss of her husband.

She retired and became an avid traveler with her brother, Art Burrows. They traveled to every state in the country, including Canada, Mexico, Australia, Europe and Scandinavia. Renee had a positive impact on the people she met throughout her life’s journey. Her laughter and ability to make people smile was her asset. When she moved to Florida she met many new friends playing pinochle and bingo.

Renee was a loving mother and is survived by Renee Anthony, Cape Canaveral, FL and Karen and Steve McCann, Clayton, NC. Adored and cherished by her grandchildren Vince Anthony, Eric Anthony, John and Amanda McCann, and Mark and Katie McCann. Great-grandmother to Delaney, Mollee, and Maura McCann. She will especially be missed by her nieces and nephews Alexandrine and Joe Godleski, Cape Canaveral, FL, Chris Egan, Indianapolis, IN, Thomas Egan, Vero Beach, FL and Barbara Bateman, Naples, FL. Also will be missed by her dear friend Terri Thompson.
