Renee Mansour McGraw was an extraordinary mother and beloved wife, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away unexpectedly February 22, 2022 at age 67. She was born to Marguerite Maloof Mansour and Taft Mansour in Newnan, GA. Renee is survived by her husband Michael E. McGraw; children Erin McGraw (Jada – granddaughter), Lauren McGraw Kraemer (Nick Kraemer), and Michael McGraw; siblings Joy Barranco, Taft Mansour, Jr., Greg Mansour, Donna Loken; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Renee was a central part of so many lives in our community. Anyone who knew her would attest, once you met Renee, you were loved by her. She was a 1972 graduate of Newnan High School and a graduate of Valdosta State University where she was the President of the Kappa Delta Sorority. Professionally, Renee and Mike built a successful event planning company, Entertainment Limited/Tneve. Renee expanded her circle of longtime friends through her caring relationships with co-workers at Piedmont Hospital, Encompass Health and most recently Niagara Water. Renee was a woman of many gifts, most notably, her gift for opening her heart to and understanding all who had the privilege of knowing her. She encouraged and supported many young persons in identifying and living up to their potential. Renee was generous, full of life and laughter, had a smile that would light up a room and she was always ready to have a good time. We lost a community giant in Renee. Whether it was the Special Olympics, Coweta County Food Pantry, welcoming others into her home or passing out cotton candy to trick or treaters, Renee was like the mother we all needed at any given moment. She was cherished and will be missed.
