Renee L. Beaton, 51, of Indianapolis passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2018. She was born on February 17, 1967 in Indianapolis to Edward Cottongim and Jean Farley. Renee studied at Baptist Temple and was a 1985 graduate of Beech Grove High School. She graduated in 2000 from Ivy Tech Community College with a degree in nursing. She had a 20 year tenure as a Registered Nurse, and traveled the world caring for others.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, nurse, and a loyal friend.
Renee is survived by her mother Jean; her children Justin Beaton (Nikki Payne) and Zach Beaton; her grandchildren Cameron Beaton, Collin Beaton, Hunter Beaton, Conner Beaton and Jasmine; her siblings Kevin Farley, Carrie (Mark) Swearingen; her special nephews, Micah, Elijah and Josiah Swearingen as well as her best friends Kerry Gill, Mary Appleget, Jami Sivells and Leslie Beaton. She is preceded in passing by her father Edward and step-father Larry Wayne Farley, whom raised her.
