Renee Lynn Zimmerman, 74, of Nampa, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 23, 2022.
During her life Renee was a phenomenal athlete and competed in swimming, softball, volleyball, and golf. But her passion was serving the Lord and winning others to Christ. She taught Sunday school, spoke at ladies retreats and had a 10-year jail ministry where she led numerous ladies to the Lord. If a salesperson knocked on our door you can bet that they left with a Christian tract after having been witnessed to about the love of God.
Renee leaves behind her loving Husband Ed, sons Todd (Laura) and Scott (Heather); 7 grandchildren; James (in heaven), Michael, Caleb (Macie), Trey (Abby) and Kobe, Niesha, Natalie and Nadia; sisters Gail (Willie) Happeny and Dottie (Paul) Luck and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Canyon Hospice for their loving and caring attention to Renee during her final days as well as all of the family and friends for their thoughtful prayers and assistance.
