Renee A. Hudson (nee Smith) of Burlington died unexpectedly, Friday, January 27th at the Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA; she was 48 years of age. Born in Mt. Holly on July 25, 1963, she is the daughter of Jay and Leah (nee Horton) Smith of Burlington City. A graduate of Burlington City High School, Class of 1981, Renee was currently employed for the past 27 years as a product scanner for Shop-Rite in Cherry Hill. A loving and devoted mother, Renee was actively supportive of her childrens’ soccer activities. Having been raised in a close-knit family Renee looked forward to and loved the family’s annual trip to Cancun, Mexico for vacation as well as spending time with her family at their home in Brigantine during the summer months.
She also loved getting together with her parents and two sisters for their monthly luncheon. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her boyfriend Mark including bowling with the company bowling league. In addition to her parents Renee is survived by her two children: Joshua and Kenzee Hudson, who live in Riverside, her two sisters: Roxanne (Smith) O’Hara of Delanco and Diane (Smith) Mainello of Burlington. She is also survived by her nephew: Ryan O’Hara, niece Michelle O’Hara, her beloved boyfriend, Mark Bottoff as well as several loving cousins, aunts and uncles.
