Renate Ingrid Nee, age 77, of Rensselaer, IN passed away Friday evening December 26, 2014, in Rensselaer She was born September 14, 1937, in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of John Fischer and Edna Schueler.
Renate was a loving caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a full of life woman that could make anyone laugh. Renate spent many years in Florida where she made many friends. She was retired from the banking industry. Renate enjoyed walking and her beloved dog Izzy. She was always the life of the party and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Surviving are her sister Gretchen Symington, her daughter Susan Doughty and husband Louis and grandchildren Erin Keller, Corinne Crawford, Louis Doughty, Lindsay Hooper and April Doughty; her son John Nee and wife Rosie and grandchildren Jennifer O’Neill, Trevor Marvin and Megan Nee. Also surviving are 8 great-grandchildren.
