Reiny Zimbelman – son of Gottlieb and Louise Zimbelman was born July 13, 1925 in Carson, North Dakota. He along with his siblings and one cousin Ella, Leah, Viola, Ruth, Edwin, Arnie, Rueben, and Amil all grew up in a small farming community. He graduated High School and was called to Duty to serve in The Pacific Theater. While serving he was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star.
