Reginald Tyrone Harbin, Jr. was born July 15, 1986, in Detroit Michigan to the late Reginald Tyrone Harbin, Sr. and Gloria Jean Dozier (Thompson). He was the second child born to the union of his parents. He had a smile that would light up the world and he loved his family. He gave his life to Christ at an early age and joined Fairview Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Gregory Mullen In 2019, he transferred his membership to Prince of Peace Christian Fellowship lead by Bishop Zachary Operton. He loved going to church, singing songs and most of all listening to the Word of God.
He graduated from Choctaw County High School in 2004. He attended Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, AL where he earned a 4 yr. scholarship in the Mechanical Engineering Program. While he was attending college, he worked at Domino’s Pizza and then pursued a career with Cash Savers for 10 years and IQOR until his illness. He was a playstaton, basketball and football fanatic which started when he played sports in high school. He thought that he was the best at everything he did; and he was never wrong, even when he was. He departed this life on August 28th 2021 and went to heaven.
Reginald leaves to cherish his memories; his loving mother Gloria Jean Dozier who lives in Butler, AL., a loving and supportive brother, Dominique Harbin of Meridian, MS, god-daughter, Kathy Ann Brown of Jackson, MS, grandmother, Eliza Thompson, grandfather Joe Lewis Turner and step-grandfather Robert Louis Thompson all of Butler, AL and two (2) very special nieces Zhanyla Coley of Detroit, MI and Normani Harbin of Butler, AL, his extended family: Letitia (Shannon), Kayla, and Payton Thomas of Detroit, MI; Gary Nelson, Jr. & Gary Nelson, Sr. both of Atlanta, GA.; two god-sisters, Chantell and Channell Avenger of Detroit, MI.; a host of very special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and truly awesome friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Reginald Tyrone Harbin, Sr. and his big sister Zjockleen Harbin-Coley and his grandparents L J & Ola B. Harbin.
