Reginald Maurice Lewis “Reggie” was born on February 14, 1973 in Cameron Texas to Rose Mary Lewis and Mack Harvey Lewis Jr.
As Child he was very caring, loving, alethic and was always the life of the party. He always protected his twin sister and loved being with all his brothers. As siblings he and his brothers and sister would get in suitcases and drag each other down the stairs and take turns closing each other up in a couch bed.
Reggie attended Kennedy high school in 1987 and played football for the Kennedy Commanders. He got his nickname Roccet for being fast on the football field and setting several football records. Reggie has went by the name Roc ever since.
While attending Kennedy Reggie met Solome and they became close friends. Four years later they had their first child in 1991, naming him Reginald M. Lewis II. There after naming all the children he could with RML initials. In 1993, he became the proud father of a beautiful daughter Dedra. In 1996 Reggie met Carolina and they were good friends for 3 years. Their friendship grew into a companionship and they got married June 16, 2000. From their union they had 5 children.
He worked for the Denver Tent Company for over 6 years, but his passion was to become a mechanic, so he worked on cars and later enrolled into college to further his mechanic skills.
He was a religious man that believed in God. He regularly attended bible study.
In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, but his children were always his priority. Being a good father meant everything to Reggie. He would also always say he had 3 important women in his life, his mother, sister and wife.
Reggie will be remembered for all the love he spread to all of his family and friends and the willingness to help anybody he could.
Reggie suddenly and unexpectedly passed away at Denver Health March 27, 2019. He is survived by His mother Rose M. Lewis, Father Mack H. Lewis Jr. Brothers Mack , the late Dexter and Michael , His twin sister Rosalyn, His wife Carolina, His children Reggie Jr, Rachel, Dedra, Rayshaun , the late Rickey, Rayvon, Raunysa, baby Reggie, Rayna, through marriage his step children Natasha, Randall, 9 grandchildren, a host of Nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
