On March 1, 2010, Reginald Lee Nicholson passed away at his home, surrounded by loved ones. He was born August 17, 1936 in Pamona, CA to the late Robert Nicholson and Mildred Welch-Nicholson. August 18, 1961, he married his true love, LaDena Wheatley. Together, they spent the majority of their lives living and raising a family in the Alpena area. Reggie loved his family, Razorback basketball, and speaking his mind. He was a wonderful husband and father who instilled kindness, generosity, and the power of a great sense of humor into each of his kids. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Nicholson. He is survived by wife LaDena Nicholson, sisters: Lois Hale, Margaret Barkley, and Marjorie Riddle, brother David Nicholson, children: Preston and Ann Nicholson, Mary and Don Wilcox, David and Tracey Nicholson, Nikki and Kirk Brown, and Mickey Nicholson, grandkids: AJ Nicholson, Lakota Williams, Tomeca Williams, Jessica Wilcox, Dozer Wilcox, Kalin Nicholson, Tara Wilson, Preston Wilson, Cheyenne Wilcox, Derek Nicholson, Austin Miller, Dreken Nicholson, Lucky Brown, and Hunter Nicholson, and his great grandchild Rodney Nicholson. He was greatly loved and immensely mourned.
