Regina “Gina” Rodriguez, 43, of Oxnard, passed away April 16, 2012, after a brief illness.
Gina was born February 25, 1969 and was a life long resident of Oxnard. She attended many camps and homes for the developmentally disabled. Gina loved eating tacos and rocking to her favorite songs of Barry White. Gina moved into the Ballard Family home where she became part of a new family. Gina touched the hearts and souls of all who knew her.
She is survived by her father and mother, Manuel and Shirley Rodriguez; sister Charlene (husband Robert), brothers Steve (wife Judy), Gilbert (wife Mary), and Paul (wife Mercy) and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
Family expresses great gratitude to her extended family at the Ballard Home who cared for Gina.. Thank you to Melinda, Celia, Araceli, Maggie, Lydia, Cecilia, Rebecca, Evelyn, Eilene and Latoya.
Gina is preceded in death by her grandparents, Salvador and Della Bravo and aunt Gail. Also her paternal grandparents Manuel and Sophia Rodriguez and aunt Alice.
