Regina Maxine Ferguson Thornton died May 15, 2014, at the age of 74. She was a native of Washington County and a resident of Chatom, Alabama. Regina was a member of Chatom Baptist Church and loved her church very much. She played the piano and then the organ for a total of 56 years. Regina also taught Sunday School. She was a graduate of Washington County High School and attended college for three years.
Survivors include: Husband ~ Billy Thornton, Chatom, AL; Daughter ~ Kay Thornton Howard, Chatom, AL; Sons ~ Norris Thornton, Chatom, AL; Brad (Fran) Thornton, Chatom, AL. Six Grandchildren.
Preceded in Death by Parents: Norris Reginald Ferguson and Sadie Mack Waite Ferguson; Sister ~ Peggy Reynolds.
