Regina (Jean) Mary Engle McLaughlin passed away on Thursday April 15, 2021 at the age of 84. Jean was born and raised in Collingswood NJ, and is one of ten children (John (decd), Mary (decd), Terrance (decd), Edward (decd), Thomas, David, Theresa, Margaret, and Paul).
She settled in New Holland, PA. and recently moved in with her daughter in Columbus, NJ. Jean loved God and was a devout Christian.Jean started and ran a successful cleaning business for many years, called Clean Jean’s Cleaning Service. Her favorite hobbies were dancing, playing with her grandchildren, Rummikub game, painting and campfires. In the 1950’s she danced on American Bandstand. She loves animals, having numerous dogs and cats through the years. Jean had a fun loving and energetic personality and loved to call family members and friends to sing “I Just Called to Say I love You” by Stevie Wonder.
Jean was predeceased by her husband Owen McLaughlin Jr, daughter Regina Morrone, and grandson Marcus Marini. She leaves to cherish her memory her children; Gerard McLaughlin, Deborah Bear, Cynthia Marini, Owen McLaughlin III, and William McLaughlin, as well as grand children; Jeramie McLaughlin, Jill Fratto, Justin McLaughlin, Kriste Miles, Rachael Beadencup, Wesley Bear, Crystal McLaughlin, William McLaughlin, and Gwen McLaughlin, as well as 12 great grandchildren.
