The life of Regina Dale Averitte Mancilla was a life of light, love, and laughter.
She was born on January 15, 1967 to Mr. Earnest and Mrs. Dorothy Averitte. Regina gave her life to Christ at an early age. In her teens, she diligently worked as a church usher and singer in the youth choir. She faithfully continued to do so until she was no longer able.
Regina was a Fayetteville High School and N.F. Nunnelly College graduate. She was employed by Wal-Mart for 17 years but her greatest work was working for the Lord. Regina was always gifts, rides, advice and a lending hand. She will always be remembered for her affectionate smile and silly ways to make you laugh.
Things she cherished, her relationship with the Lord, her parents, her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Mancilla departed this walk of life on January 16, 2021 at Grandview Medical Center, Birmingham, AL.
She leaves to cherish her memories three loving children, Kimberly Ann Lawson of Syracuse, NY; Billy Jarel (Courtney) Lawson of Calera, AL; and Justin Patrick (Kimberly) Lawson of Sylacauga, AL; five grandchildren, Madison, Malachi, Keegan, Delilah and Bianca; loving parents, Earnest Alvin (Dorothy M.) Averitte of Sylacauga, AL; seven siblings, Veda M. Averitte of Sylacauga, AL; Earnest O. (Detrel) Averitte of Lincoln, AL; Ken (Tiffany) Averitte of Atlanta, GA; Karen (Clayton) Law of Raleigh, NC; Relecia (Johnathan) Cook of Childersburg, AL; Pamela (Kevin) Brooks of Pinson, AL; and Rita (Bryant) Stevens of Little Elm, TX; two uncles, K.C. Harris and Clarence Harris both of Sylacauga, AL; four aunts, Lula M. Cook, Virginia Averitte, Gloria J.
