Regina B. Lee It is with profound sadness that the family of Regina Barrett Lee announces her passing on August 23, 2020. Our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all, left us peacefully at the age of 97. She was the beloved mother of Patricia (Pat) Farmer and Robert (Bob) Lee, mother-in-law to David Farmer and Cheryl Lee, proud grandmother of Jennifer Blackwell, Michael Farmer, Page Farmer, Ryan Lee, Samantha Peirce, and Christian Lee. Loving great-grandmother to William Blackwell, Harrison Blackwell, Colin Blackwell, Quinn Farmer, and Colette Farmer. All of these she loved and touched deeply. She was predeceased by her loving husband Robert Elgin Lee and her son Robert Richard Lee as well as her sister Muriel Nimphius, brothers, Joseph, Donald, Woodrow, Gerald, and Jack Barrett, and parents, Joseph & Katherine Rogers Barrett. Regina was born on October 12, 1922, in Queens, New York. She met her loving husband, Robert Elgin Lee, during World War II. She made her first trip to Newnan as a young bride with Robert in 1942. They were married for almost 70 years. She lived a full life as a wonderful mother and homemaker. Regina loved to cook and garden. She was a volunteer with the Newnan Hospital Auxiliary for many years. The Presbyterian Women of Newnan honored her in 2016 with an Honorary Life Membership. Most of all, she loved her family. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
