Regina A. (Merriner) Seamon, 58 of Clarksburg passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at her residence. She was born September 2, 1960 at St Mary’s Hospital, Clarksburg, WV; the daughter of the late Jack E. Gain and Mary Alma (Deluca) Merriner Gain.
Regina graduated from Liberty High School, Class of 1978. She has worked many positions at the Harrison County Courthouse shortly after graduating. She was currently a senior administrative assistant for the Harrison County Commission. She was a member of the St James Catholic Church. She loved animals especially her dog Smokey and her cats Blu and Bindi.
Regina is survived by her companion, Matt Womeldorff, one son, Michael Joe Seamon, Greensboro, NC; his father Mike Seamon of Clarksburg, two sisters, Jacqueline “Jacquie” Karakiozis, Shelley Matheny and husband Ron, all of Clarksburg; one brother, John Merriner and wife Penny, Winchester, VA; four nieces, Clarissa, Rita, Mary Catherine and Eugena Rose; several great nieces and nephews.
