Mr. Reggie Kimbrough was born March 21, 1970 in Chicago, Ill., to Ernestine and Richard James Kimbrough. He exchanged this life for eternal life May 1, 2022.

Reggie relocated to Alabama around 2012. He accepted Christ as his Savior and joined Tearing Down Walls Ministries in Mobile, under the leadership of Pastors Larry and Patricia Jackson. Reggie served his ministry faithfully in whatever capacity he could.

The biggest love Reggie had was for his family and friends; his favorite pastime was fishing. He was a very giving and loving person, who never met a stranger and had a personality that was hard to forget. His purpose in life was to bring joy and laughter to whatever environment he encountered. Reggie was a very smart and intelligent man. He was very masterful with his hands. A jack of all trades, he mastered them all. From A to Z if it could be fixed, replaced, etc., he did it.

Once in Alabama, Reggie worked various jobs but his passion was to one day own his own business. Reggie started at Fortis College in Mobile the summer of 2014 and received a degree in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration in the fall of 2015; he graduated at the top of his class. Reggie did various HVAC jobs for a while but driving big rigs was his passion. Reggie had been in the trucking industry for more than 10 years prior to relocating to Alabama. The love of it never left him. With hard work and dedication, Reggie became owner/operator of Kimbrough’s Trucking, LLC, March 24, 2021. Kimbrough’s Trucking, LLC was his pride and joy.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and dedicated wife, Leslie Savage; his mother, Ernestine Kimbrough of Chicago, Ill.; two sons, Reggie Marquiese Kimbrough of , and Jalen Kimbrough of Chicago; two grandchildren, Joi Kimbrough and Khoi Kimbrough; brothers, Paris Miller and Minister Kenneth (Gemelle) Kimbrough, both of Chicago; three sisters, Augustine (Tammy) Kimbrough of Mobile, and Danareatha (Gary) Johns and Linda Kimbrough, both of Chicago; five uncles, Charlie (Jackie) Kimbrough and James Kimbrough, both of Wagarville, Herman (Yvonne) Kimbrough and Limmie Kimbrough, both of Mobile, and Ervin Kimbrough of Jackson; three aunts, Emma (Dean) Reed, Mamie White and Devlyn (Jean) Lovick, all of Wagarville; a special and devoted cousin/brother, Robert Singleton of Chicago; special mother-in-law, Jacklyn McDonald; and his grandmother, whom he loved dearly, Margaret (Momul) Davis. Reggie had many other special cousins and friends whom he loved and cherished, too many to name; with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, other relatives and his beloved dog, Major.

Preceding him in death was his father; paternal grandparents, Ura and Limmie Kimbrough; maternal grandparents, Aline and Joe Miller; brother, Keiston (Lumpy) Kimbrough; a special aunt he loved very dearly, as a second mom, Prophetess Joyce E. Kimbrough.
