Reed Lee Thompson, 61, of Salem, Arkansas, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018 in Salem, Arkansas.
He was born in Alameda, California on November 1, 1956. Reed was the son of the late Anita Sue (Reed) and George Alan Thompson, Jr. He spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Reed was united in marriage to Joann Fletcher in Bay, Arkansas on November 28, 2000. During his working years he worked in construction. He was of the Pentecostal faith. Reed was a hard worker and loved Joann’s kids.
Reed is survived by his wife Joann Thompson of Salem; children, Crystal Thompson of Fort Worth, Texas, Stacy Neal of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Amy Langford of Jonesboro, Robbie Langford of Salem and Kristien Langford of Salem; grandchildren, Jonathan Cook, Nathaniel Cook, Kenneth Cook, Noah Neal, Lora Neal, Dom Neal, Jacob Neal, Elizabeth Neal, Oliver Neal, Serinity Langford, Cash Langford, Levi Langford and Aubrianna Langford; Sisters, Janet Herald and Jessica Blow both of Michigan; brothers, Edward Thompson of Virginia and Robert Thompson of Missouri and sister in law, Susan Thompson of Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Anita Thompson and brother George Alan Thompson III.
