Redus U. Bill Rodabaugh, age 79, of Fairmount, IN, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2011, at Residence in Fairmount, IN with his wife, Leda Jo (Bryant) by his side. Bill was born on January 8, 1932, In Batesville, Arkansas to Lemuel and Virginia (Standford) Rodabaugh.
Bill was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers. One sister survives.
Bill served in the Army many years, including time served in the Korean War. He and Jo moved their family to Indiana in 1965, where he retired as a press operator from General Tire in 1995. He was a member of the Equality #497 Masonic Lodge of Newburg, MO, and Royal Arch Scottish Rite, American Legion #313.
Bill enjoyed spending time with his family. In his later years, he enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and euchre. Bill and Jo were married on October 10, 1953. They were happily married for 57 years. Bill and Joe were blessed with four children Two Daughter: Linda (Mike) Powell, Jonesboro, IN Deborah Rodabaugh, deceased 6/6/57-4/4/83 Two Sons: Raymond (Peggy) Rodabaugh, Fairmount, IN David Rodabaugh, Fairmount, IN Seven Grandchildren; Jeff Powel, deceased 7/20/69-5/26/02 Dequina (Scott) Kean Shelby (Amy) Rodabaugh Jeremy (Shelly) Rodabaugh Monica Rodabaugh Shawn (Amber) Powell Curtis (Heather) Rodabaugh 15 Great- Grandchildren 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
