Reco Sales was born January 23, 1990 in Decatur, Alabama, to Vivian Sales and Rodney Reed in Decatur, Alabama. He departed this life on August 11, 2017 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.
Reco attended Austin High School. He confessed hope in Christ at an early age and united with St. James C. P. Church in America under the leadership of Pastor Clifford Malone. He was a member of the C.P.Y.F; the youth choir; and the Sunday School. As a youth he was a member of Decatur Youth Enrichment for over ten years.
Reco was preceded in death by his grandfathers, George Sherman Allen, Paul Sales; grandmother, Barbara Sue Morrow Elliott.
Reco leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Vivian Sales of Decatur; his father, Rodney Reed (Vanessa) of Huntsville, AL; three sisters, Alexis Sales, Kendra Sales and Tiera Jones all of Decatur; grandmothers, Fannie Sue Reed and Brenda Ayers-Allen both of Decatur; grandfather, James Elliott of Decatur; great-grandmother, Hattie Allen of Decatur; aunts, Jacquline Morrow, Veronda Sales, Pamela Smith and Laportia Reed all of Decatur; uncles, Terrence Allen, Cedric Reed of Decatur; nieces, A’Talyah, Navi , Bralei, Brilei, Dakiasha, Kaliyah; nephews, King, Isaac, Keyan, Tysean, Darnell Jr., Deshon all of Decatur; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
