Rebekah was born on June 28, 1975 at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Victoria, TX. At age 3, her young life led her to Corpus Christi, TX for 7 years. She lived in Port Lavaca, TX for a short time before she and her family moved to Austin, TX at age 12. As she grew into adulthood, Rebekah spent her time writing poetry, going to concerts, and establishing lifelong friendships. Rebekah’s travels then took her to Las Vegas, NV where she and her husband had her first 2 children, Clair and Alisa Tharp. Upon returning to Austin, Rebekah met the love of her life, husband Christopher Hoover. Together they had one son, Joshua Hoover, 10. Their lives took them to Englewood, CO where she was working at Carpet Exchange until she could determine which life interest she wanted to pursue. Rebekah was a warrior for her children and loved them intensely, a devoted wife, an irreplaceable daughter, sister and friend. She was a spokeswoman for those without a voice. She loved to cook and bake. She was unapologetic and true to her beliefs. She handled life with grace. She will be forever loved and missed by many.
