Rebecca Virgin Brewer Sutton, was born December 6, 1944, in Siler City, NC where she was a homemaker and mother of five boys. She was the daughter of the late Omelia Kelly and the late Lewis Dark.
She was the type of person that could not meet a stranger. She would travel near and far in search of good food, fun, and family. She also used the time to do some serious SHOPPING, LOL! Her favorite place to shop was the local thrift stores.
She was a faithful member of Holy Trinity U.H.C. starting at a young age. Rebecca served in the past as Secretary of Bible Church School and also was a loyal member of the Missionary Ministry. She was instrumental in implementing, “Old Fashion Day”, which she really loved and enjoyed. Rebecca cherished the old hymns and songs of the Church.
Rebecca is preceded in death by her sons, Robert Brewer and Michael Davis Brewer of Siler City, NC.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her sons, Lorenzo Virgin of Burlington, NC, Kevin Brewer and Trent Leron Brewer, both of Siler City, NC; six grandchildren, Michael Brewer, Jr., Ashley Brewer, Trent Brewer, Jr., Tyra Carn, Joseph McNeil, Asia Brewer; three great-grandchildren, Mikayla Lynn Brewer, Michael-Anthony Brewer, and Aaliyah Brewer; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
