Rebecca Ruth (Stevens) Daugherty, 90, of Anderson, passed away March 5, 2018 at Community Hospital Anderson. She was born on June 8, 1927 in Hamilton County and grew up in Sheridan and later Atlanta, IN.
She retired from Delco Remy after 41 years of service. She loved to garden, crochet, be outdoors and spend time with family.
Rebecca is survived by her husband, William H. Daugherty; daughters, Cynthia Daugherty, Lynn (Creston) Gallup; grandchildren, Geoffrey Gallup, Ryan Gallup, Emily Gallup; brothers, Ernie Stevens, Harold Stevens; sister-in-law, Carolyn Stevens and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Edna Stevens; siblings, Keith Stevens, Mary “Peg” Oetting, Alice Lucille Jones, Joan Endicott, Shirley Brewer, and Gerald Stevens.
